Just this past wednesday,
my Deputy Director, with a smile, said these words upon many other nice words to my face.. "It's either you are blind, or the tenant pays you money to cover your eyes.."
I was in the presence of 2 of his Deputy Managers, his Executive, and 2 of our Contractors. My only comfort was that my Manager was not present. If so, she would turn around and funnel the blame even more to me instead of providing a shield. (She was furiously hot when she called me upon learning of the incident.)
And my senior, for some reason left the scene just before the deputy director arrived.
The words out of my Deputy Director's mouth are often treated like golden nuggets. And his subordinates are rushing to follow up on his suggestions and ideas.
This pretty much summarize my past week at work..
So students, please study hard..

Hey.. I'd just finish the whole season 1 of The Simpsons cartoon. Very nice and interesting. It should be dated back 1986.. I was 5 years old. In season 1, I realise how their pet dog (santa little helper) came about and how Bart became respected as a school bully.
Its all old school drawings with no guest appearance yet. Very cool.
Gonna move on to season 2..

I woke up for work the following morning and this song kept following me unconciously till i brush my teeth. Than i was like.. "Hey..."
I push that song off as i continue to prepare myself for work. And just as i had forgotten about it, the radio played this song right before i reach my workplace. I was like "Wow! Is this a coincident or wat!!??" And i remembered that song for the rest of the day..

What a song to dream on for me..
I just heard a true love story on class 95 fm that watered my eyes.. If you can hear a love story that touches you over the radio, you know its good. Well.. at least to me.
This lady wrote in about how a song meant so much to her. Her name is Mag and it was how she met a guy back then in the 80's.
She was at East Coast Park with another girlfriend just chit chatting and discussing about their future after the 'o' levels when a ball roll their way. A guy walk down their way to collect it. And they caught each others eye and chatted for awhile before they exchange home phone numbers. They chatted on the phone for awhile and the guy invited her to a function for their first date. Than the slow dance numbers came along and the guy ask her to dance. She hesitated at first as she did not know how to dance. Than after much encouragement from the guy, she went up with him and they dance along to the slow tune. The first song they dance to was Crazy for you by madonna.
As teenagers, they quarrelled and fought over the phone. And disagreed on certain things. Than after a cold war, the guy stop calling her and she did not hear from the guy since then.
One day during the June period, she went back to school for tutorials and she saw that the school was filled with make shift beds from the civil defence. She ask her friends what was going on and she realise that the school was turn into a temporary shelter for the victims of the Hotel New World collapse. She carried on with her class but after awhile, the medics brought in the victims one after another and she saw and regconise one of them. It was the guy that she had been dating.
She later call his home to enquire and his parents told her that it was true. The guy was at the hotel at the time of collapse. And he was also one of the last person they retrieve under the ruble.
Its been about 20 years now since that fateful day and she had since move on. But whenever she heard that song it reminds her of him. And that song means so much to Mag.

I was walking down Singapore indoor stadium last nightwith Jeremy and my friend Robin called me on the phone to ask me out. Halfway through our conversation, a girl walked by me and was talking aloud. Robin cuts in.. "Ooh your with girls ar??" "Nope" I replied. And as i ended the phone conversation, Jeremy turn to ask me.. "You were talking to a girl ar??" "Noo" I replied..

oh i just love this song.. it never fail to water my eyes.. heard this song since my sec sch days and it still sound fresh. It will be one of those song that will follow me thru my life.
