:[ The Kingdom ]:
Yesterday i was window shopping in Junction 8.. Had just drop my borrowed library book to return. i wanted to renew my loan but they would not allow as it is the 2nd time.. So i am suppose to wait for 2 hours when they will place the book back on the shelves..
So i was browsing thru the laptops in the department store.. than one of them was playing movie trailers one after another.. And it shows The Kingdom movie trailer starring jamie foxx. The trailer proves that the show is more exciting than the title itself.. And it got me excited for the movie.. "Gonna watch that one!" i said to myself.
Than i went one more level up by the escalator and behold... its Golden Village. I just browsed thru the timing.. and just nice.. The Kingdom movie starts in 30 mins. I bought a ticket for one and watch it by myself..
haha.. i was hesitating to watch it alone but there is this prompting in me saying 'if you feel like it, just go ahead'
The movie has a new modern plot about terrorism. Its an enjoyable show. Just that it involves conservative muslim countries.. i cant help but to think that this movie grabs political attention. And was cautious thru the show, looking out if the movie bring any wrong dialogues or shaming of conservatives.
Hmm.. this movie could be better if not for the political tension sense in the show..
But...
AvP2 is coming out!!!!!!!!!!!!
Alien vs Predator 1 is a great show! 2 warrior monsters fighting.. Now AvP2 trailer seems good!
I am Legend by Will Smith seem good too! Its kind of like a zombie flick too! But looking at the special effects, i think its worth the $7..
I used to be freak out by the Aliens movie when i was young.. my dad allow me to watch and i was frighten to be alone after that.. and it lasted for a long time. Was alarmed at the slightest rattle.. I was afraid of Jurrasic Park too..
The Hitman seems good

:[ . ]:
why wouldn't You let me go?...
Everytime i want to let go but You reignite the passion. So many times i want to give up. Going from nothing to something. No partners and not knowing where to start. Over 7 years till this day that i can remember.
I am not cut out for this.. But i had brought myself to this level.. all because of this seed that was planted in me.. More than 5 times this year i remembered of letting go.. And today was the finale.. i was devastated. And i come to church hoping You would not speak to me.. the message would not tell me to pursue my dream. But today's message was so clear.. i cant deny.. God, dont speak to me.. And i dont know if i should laugh, or hide my face.. Why isst so 'zun'?!
God, i am a failure. i failed in everything that i had place my hands into.. Lord, You know the truthfullness of these.. Looking at my past, i foresee how my future would be..
But God, if Your hands are in this, and You are for me, my only wish is that i can look back at this entry, lift up my hands and glorify Your name! For it is only You!.. That You have been faithful.. and i am a living testimonial of Your movement.
sincerely

:[ thats me.. but i would say... 80% true?.. ]:
Signature Analysis Report for Alexander Liu on 11/18/2007
This report is based only on Alexander Liu's signature and therefore describes his public image. Alexander's private personality may be different.
Physical & Material Drives
Alexander is an intense person with a lot of vitality and a zestful, exuberant attitude. His desire for physical and material pleasure varies. Sometimes he likes to eat gourmet foods or spend time in luxurious surroundings, but he can take them or leave them. He is restless and needs to be on the go. He has a great capacity for an active, varied life.
Alexander has mixed feelings about accumulating money or material possessions. He cares about building his financial worth, but he also believes that there are more important things for him to worry about than collecting as much wealth as he can. He is not able to hold onto his money. Whether or not he has a lot, it just seems to slip through his fingers. While he tends to be generous, he also tries not to waste his resources.
Emotional Characteristics
Alexander's mind is in control. He believes in approaching all situations in a rational way and doesn't allow himself to express emotions, even when he is upset. Moments of hate, love and joy affect him deeply and continue to affect him after the experiences have passed. He may hold grudges because he has a hard time forgiving and forgetting. He maintains balance in his life by alternating between holding on and letting go. Sometimes his old feelings resurface and he turns to familiar ways of coping with them. At other times, he is able to let go of the past and move on to new emotional experiences.
Alexander has high hopes for his ambitions and feels that tomorrow is certain to be better than today. When things don't go well, he usually bounces back and tries again.
Intellectual Style
Alexander takes great pains to make sure that his thinking is systematic and precise. He tries hard to avoid mistakes. His analytical mind helps him to break a problem into its parts and deal with each item separately.
Intuition plays a large part in Alexander's thinking, but he uses enough logic to produce continuity. This versatility enables him to see both the parts and the whole of a problem or situation. He jumps right into the problem-solving process without pausing to reflect. He uses his intellect to stoutly defend his opinions in matters which are important to him. He will explore all possible avenues in order to defend his point of view. He likes to read because he is a visual learner who can interact well with written material.
Personality Traits
Alexander wants others to think he is totally self-confident and he doesn't like others to question his competence, even in areas where he is not competent. He is proud of how he looks and takes
good care of his personal appearance. He is likely to feel uncomfortable when he can't find clothes which fit him well or help him look his best. He derives a sense of pride from the achievements of his family.
Alexander is very cautious and he needs time to think and weigh the alternatives before he starts anything new. His needs for safety and caution sometimes prevent him from taking the risks which are required for personal growth.
Alexander can exhibit some changeable behaviour, but his responses are not frequently inconsistent. He is versatile and many-sided. He is not rigid or prescribed in his behaviour. He values traditional ways. He may be less receptive to more progressive viewpoints in favour of those perspectives which are approved by time.
Social Behaviour
Alexander enjoys the company of others but also needs time for solitude to collect himself.
Alexander presents himself to others in a clear, matter-of-fact way. He will conceal information when it is useful to do so, but he can be open and informative at other times. Because he is experienced in both ways of behaving, he is able to choose the most appropriate way to act in a specific situation. He knows when to hide his cards and when to lay them on the table. He knows when to be conversational, when to be quiet and when something is better left unsaid. He is discreet, tactful and willing to respond openly and honestly when questioned.
Alexander's feelings may get hurt when his personal appearance is criticized. It may not be possible to tell when he is feeling let down because he won't show it. Instead, he will cover up his feelings by looking as if everything is going along just fine. He will take an active part in social activities, whether that involves a central role or not. He is willing to become involved without requiring the spotlight. He wants to know that others look up to him and view him with respect and admiration.
Alexander enjoys having a good discussion.
Vocational Implications
Alexander likes to brainstorm a problem, then shift his attention to implementing a solution. He bases his decisions on facts and figures. When making decisions, he sets his emotions aside so that he can assess the information in an objective manner and choose the most sensible course of action. He is very concerned about accuracy in his work. He would rather take the time to get it right than rush to get it done quickly, but less accurately. Because he has a lot of energy which he channels into his work, he is able to accomplish more than most people. When necessary, he is able to work alone with concentration and, in a group, he can be either a leader or a follower, as appropriate. He is willing to assume a variety of group roles.
Alexander has difficulty organizing his work and often appears to be disorganized. His enjoyment of physical labour may be satisfied through his work. However, he could be happy in occupations which are not physical if he is able to use his muscles in activities outside of work.
Alexander is determined to hang in through the longer, duller stretches of work, so he is good at following through and completing projects.
Handwriting Analyst Report for Alex Liu on 11/18/2007
Physical & Material Drives
Alex appears to be a moderately energetic person. As long as his energy resources are not tapped too frequently, he will have enough energy to meet his needs and face the challenges which confront him. He doesn't value physical or material pleasures (gourmet food, luxurious surroundings, etc.), so he doesn't put any energy into finding them. He has his active periods. After being on the go for a while, he likes to relax and not have to do anything physical for a time.
Alex does not care about accumulating money or material possessions. There are more important things for him to worry about than building his financial worth. While he tends to be thrifty, he is sometimes willing to share his resources with others.
Emotional Characteristics
Alex responds rationally in emotional situations. Conscious control permits him to think first and act later in most circumstances. He is receptive to emotional matters, but his responses are empathetic without being impulsive. His feelings are typically moderate in intensity, so when he gets really upset about something, he is usually able to calm down and let go of his anger in a reasonable length of time.
Alex may have been physically tired or depressed at the time of writing. Otherwise, he is a pessimistic type of person who protects himself from disappointment by expecting the worst and waiting until there is little likelihood of failure before getting his hopes up. He is responsive and tender, though he may also be slightly moody. His emotional state is affected by the moods and feelings of others.
Intellectual Style
Alex takes great pains to make sure that his thinking is systematic and precise. He tries hard to avoid mistakes. His analytical mind helps him to break a problem into its parts and deal with each item separately.
Intuition plays a large part in Alex's thinking, but he uses enough logic to produce continuity. This versatility enables him to see both the parts and the whole of a problem or situation. In thinking and problem-solving, he is cautious and often pauses for reflection before trying to solve a problem. He enjoys activities which use his mind and challenge him intellectually. He appreciates elegant ideas which are profound and wide-reaching in their implications for understanding himself and others. He usually notices details, but he may occasionally forget or not take the time to consider all the particulars of an idea or problem. He uses his intellect to stoutly defend his opinions in matters which are important to him. He will explore all possible avenues in order to defend his point of view. He likes to read because he is a visual learner who can interact well with written material.
Personality Traits
Alex tends to minimize his own importance and subordinate his own desires. Overall, he has developed a sufficient amount of self-confidence and self esteem. He can be very self-critical and blame himself for a variety of shortcomings. He seems to be afraid of failing and to believe that he is not capable enough to accomplish what he sets out to do. Actually, he tends to be more capable than he gives himself credit for, so factual information and positive feedback about how well he is able to perform may help him succeed and overcome his fear of failure.
Alex is fairly patient and not inclined to become overly frustrated when he is forced to wait. He tends toward self-deception, as he tries to cope by acting like an ostrich and burying his head in the sand when the storm comes.
Alex is adaptable for the most part, and is able to accommodate to changing conditions. He is able to adapt to varying external pressures and force himself to do the things that need to be done.
He can exhibit some changeable behaviour, but his responses are not frequently inconsistent. He is versatile and many-sided. He is not rigid or prescribed in his behaviour. He has carefully cultivated his sense of taste and exercises good judgement in aesthetic matters. He does things his own way and is not afraid to try new experiences. He is progressive and action-oriented. He feels secure when he knows what his limits are. If his operational boundaries are unclear, he will lack a sense of predictability and control, and his level of insecurity will be higher.
Social Behaviour
Alex likes to be with people and will let others share his space, but he needs to be alone and recharge his batteries after awhile.
Alex will conceal information to protect himself, but he is trying to maintain balance in his life by alternating between holding on and letting go. Fear of self-exposure can cause him to conceal facts but not, necessarily, to lie. He wants to protect his image, so he may not mention facts which detract from the way he wants to be viewed. He is moderately interested in communicating clearly, but occasional carelessness or self-involvement may cause miscommunication and misunderstanding.
Alex's feelings may get hurt when his personal appearance is criticized. He is lacking in depth, so he tends to respond passively to others rather than asserting himself. He can be critical of others and focus on their deficiencies. His dissatisfaction with others is likely to be a reflection of his dissatisfaction with himself. He will take an active part in social activities, whether that involves a central role or not. He is willing to become involved without requiring the spotlight.
Alex enjoys having a good discussion.
Vocational Implications
Alex enjoys implementing or operating more than he enjoys brainstorming. His greatest contribution probably lies in his ability to carry out plans and take care of operations. He is able to jump into the middle of new projects. It is not important to him to be with the project from the beginning. He doesn't like to waste time, and he can become frustrated when people are late for their appointments or when he is unable to be efficient in his use of time. He is very concerned about accuracy in his work. He would rather take the time to get it right than rush to get it done quickly, but less accurately. When necessary, he is able to work alone with concentration and, in a group, he can be either a leader or a follower, as appropriate. He is willing to assume a variety of group roles.
Alex is able to organize his work most of the time; however, he can be disorganized on occasion. He may overlook some of the specifics involved in his work. His independence and openness to new experiences are useful traits for occupations which offer possibilities for developing new business ventures. He enjoys taking care of people and making sure that their needs are met. His enjoyment of physical labour may be satisfied through his work. However, he could be happy in occupations which are not physical if he is able to use his muscles in activities outside of work.
Alex is usually fairly enthusiastic about his work, although he may not get excited about it. He is determined to hang in through the longer, duller stretches of work, so he is good at following through and completing projects. He sometimes drags his feet and puts things off until the last minute. If too many things are put off too long, life may become overwhelming to him.
Alex sets his goals low so that he is sure he will be able to reach them. He feels most comfortable with goals which are quick, easy and, above all, safe.

:[ Head to Christ ]:
http://www.christianitytoday.com/music/interviews/2007/brianwelch-0807.html
It was 2004 and Korn's lead guitarist Brian "Head" Welch had hit rock bottom. As a member of the controversial nü-metal band that became the voice for youth worldwide with lyrics about alienation and abuse, the pressures of the rock star life had torn his marriage apart.
Addicted to methamphetamines and alcohol and left to raise his daughter by himself, the childhood dream of stardom had become a nightmare for the longhaired, bearded, and heavily tattooed musician. The wealth and fame he once thought would bring him happiness and fulfillment had left him miserable and empty, mired in a dark depression.
At the end of his rope, Welch prayed … and God answered in a big way.

-1 large plate of BBQ stingray
-1 large plate of pork rib
-1 large plate of oyster egg
-1 large plate of kang kong
-1 large hotplate egg toufu
-2 plates of rice each
-1 extra large cup of sugarcane drink
3 friends & myself went to johor to have this crazily huge dinner.. for those who dun noe me.. im in the 'Live to Eat' category of people.. and wouldnt mind going the distance for a sumptious meal.
For this place at Rasa Sentosa johor.. they are famous for their butter crayfish.. i reckon 1/3 of adult sporean population would have eaten or heard about this place. Its that delicious..! and no stall in spore does crayfish as good as them. almost all customers tonite had a set of crayfish on their table.. Wow!! and its cheap cause they charges in ringgit.
I had stop patronising that place since i gave up my bike about 2 years ago.. Ironically, when i was wrking at pizza hut before NS, i brought a collegue fren over to eat. He love it and during his NS in navy, he brought his navy pal (which happened to be our common friend) over to eat. He in turn likes it! Now this common friend brought me over to eat today! As I do not know how to get there by public transport..
Its amazing aint it..
My birthday happens with a dinner this past 2 years..
This year's is indeed full-filling...

:[ Hatchday hatchday Hatchday ]:
I was hatched on this day 27 years ago.. (counting from day zero) The earth was never a safe place again.. haha.. ya right...
Anyway, mattlex didnt celebrate his 26th year. Had an exam in the morning which i didnt do well.. Hmm i didnt study much but was not panicky at all.. I think i lost the panic feelin le.. Not like when i was a student. And this exam has nothing to look forward to.. Its one of those that if you score high, you wun get any rewards. But if you fail, u sit thru the whole course again and if u fail the 2nd time, u pay back the entire course fee...
Well.. but i did had a simple meal and i ate one dish which i soo dearly miss. - escargots! I had them once before. I should be in upper primary. It left a good memory and just now i tried it for the 2nd time. Escargots are cooked snails... They were served with butter and garlic.
Going to johor for seafood this coming thursday. The best cereal crayfish is serve there.. (im a food fanatic u see..) Always patronise that place when i had a bike.. Now we are taking public transport in.. Used to be more daring.. I went in alone in the middle of the nite with my bike to have supper and pump petrol. service my bike alone.. frequent there more than i frequent orchard road. and did a few silly stuff there too..
Anyway, 26th years old. i seem to be getting back a few past memories. like im more able to face my past again.. I shall bring a few past friends with me into the future. Hope i succeed.
Hatchday Lex
