Went to the esplanade to countdown but could not squeeze through the huge crowd to get to the waterfront.. infact, we were stuck opp the road... so we made our way back to the padang field to catch the fireworkz. And just in time..
Before that we were at wymond's place for pot luck.. had some international food... =) We left his place around 1045pm only.. And when we settle down at padang, we were just roughly 2 mins before midnite.. We did not know the exact timing for the countdown and we just wait till suddenly the sky was litted up.. followed by the thunderous sound and the cheers of the crowd.
The fireworkz lasted for 10mins.. It was short.. but just so thankful too.. We quickly rush our way down to vivocity to catch the movie AVP2.. had booked the 0115am slot.. And just so thankful the timing was just right... because of the heavy traffic and crowd, we reach the place just 10mins before the schedule...
ok..movie critic time..
AvP2 is just as gruesome as the 1st installment. We sat at the 3rd row from front so we didnt really have a good view. Furthermore, most of the show was dark and the aliens was black. The screen was too big and we turn our heads left to right and left to watch a scene. Gosh..
But overall its a good movie. Its not those that would win an oscar but its entertaining. About as good as the 1st.
Now i would like to make a gay kind of declaration.. I would not plan to watch another movie in vivocity. The seats are too straight. The neck will hurt. Kopitiam seats are more comfy. Furthermore, 'The Cathay' is the best cinema in town and its closer to my place.. So support cathay... =p

The best part was the finale.. No planning and everything was random but it was the best..it was natural. God's hand must be in this and likewise, we must be in His plan..
The cell group multiplied and we were told of our new grouping. everyone was emotional.. either sad or glad.. a sense of change etc.. Anyway we had plan a appreciation gift for cyn and davis - mastermind by jieying.. we planned a appreciation gift for jeremy and jieying as well for their help in this cell group over 3 years.. None expected anything.. Its already quite a miracle getting for gifts inside cyn home without any of the 4 noticing of each other gifts..
I was thinking of the speech to present jeremy's and jieying's gifts right after somebody present for cyn and davis as a surprise. but i could not think of a good one so i said to myself.. 'aiya just let it be natural la.. God will help.' But i was rushing for service so i didnt plan to stay on le.. i ask zhaowei to present for me. And i make a move..
Before i was about to leave the door, junxiong stop everyone and had a speech to thank someone important in the cell group..etc. And he tur and said that i was the backbone of the cg's praise and worship.. wow i was so surprise! and he gave me a miniature guitar display on behalf of the cg. (i think everyone else got a shock too for who is this alex rite??.. =p)
So once junxiong end, i randomly ask to make a speech.. and i said that we wana appreciate jeremy and jieying for thier hardwork. I believe jeremy and jieying duno about thier gifts. Only an applause.. till we present to them.. Jieying got a beautiful pillow (courtesy of emy) cause jieying likes to sleep. Than jeremy ask if his present got anything to do with driving since he likes to drive.. haha Got!! u want wheels, we got wheels for ya baby.. and he recieve a skateboard..
After jeremy accepted le.. he turn made a speech.. to thank davis and later cynthia for their great effort as well... davis shld be shock i guess.. are u? cynthia..she shld know w279 game plans after 3 years... Cyn and davis gifts would be more meaningful with our personal msg written on it..
So we took our last group photo b4 i make my move.. I think its God's planning.. from the driving gift to choose for jeremy to this multiplication and such a finale.. No human plans..all natural.
And as i sit in my car, God reveal a truth about myself with w279. And i go Wow! God knows how to fixa broken spirit..

just came back from a trip to malaysia desaru.. it was really fun and enriching! We went to the fruits farm, went upclose with sheeps & goats, ostrich farm.. and even got nibble by an ostrich. Learn alot and was pretty fun walking around.. lunch sucks but all is forgiven when the dinner comes.. so still manage to leave the trip with a good memory.
But now im so zombie... slept at 3am last nite and woke up at 5am for the trip..reach home at 10pm. Gosh..

i heard from 3 others who watched the show before i watched it myself.. And i regret hearing their review.. Cause i think its a good show!.. Its nice and Will Smith pull in a thumbs up performance..
The most touching part is when morn for his pet dog death.. And how he had to kill his beloved dog who was infected..
Its a good show.. I do enjoy it and am touched emotionally.. haha

I also sense in my spirit the possible new choices i can choose. But i seem to have been down that familiar road before.. I shall not make the same mistakes again.
